Female Marine Castings by Jacqualine47

Here's pics showing the first casting of the female space marines by Jacqualine47

Jacqualine is  a garage-workshop resin caster with a lot of experience with 2 piece (and sometimes 3 piece) molds and pressure casting.  She stumbled across my blog, saw the female space marine sculpts and  offered me help in making molds and do castings.

Looking at these pics, I'm so glad I decided to take her up on her offer!

It's amazing what a difference in quality there are between my poor attempts at casting and the wonderful results she achieved with hers.

She said that she will try to take some good progress pictures for us so that I can keep my blog updated :)

I'm very excited to finally see some real progress on this project!

Hopefully in a couple months, I can finally get them to all my friends who have been patiently waiting to add them to their army/collection :)

  1. That's pretty amazing. What's their comparison in size to that of a basic tactical marine?

  2. If you making them available for sale, can you please let us know some pricings. I'm genuinely interested in getting some to try out a Slaanesh Marine squad and I like the fact that they're plain. Please let us know.

  3. I just stumbled upon this blog while looking for casting advice.
I must say you're doing some amazing work!
I'm a sculptor and an amateur in miniature casting so I'm always on the lookout for new ideas.
I was wondering, do you have any idea why she is using a hair-drier on the plasticene in one of the pics?

    Cheers // Andreas :)
